Instant Clean
Specialist soft washing for organic growth and surface staining
Instant Clean is a specialist softwash treatment used to remove organic growth such as algae, moss, lichen, mould and surface staining.
It is particularly useful for driveways, patios, paths, walls, render and other exterior surfaces where organic contamination has built up.
How does Instant Clean work?
Instant Clean works as a treatment rather than relying on aggressive pressure. Carefully selected products are applied to the affected surface and given time to work, before the area is rinsed using a controlled approach suited to the material.
On suitable surfaces, a visible improvement can often be seen relatively quickly, sometimes within around 30 minutes of application. The final result depends on the surface, its condition and the type and level of contamination present.
Why use Instant Clean instead of pressure cleaning?
Pressure can remove visible growth, but using force is not always the best way to care for the surface underneath.
Soft washing allows the organic contamination to be treated directly, reducing unnecessary wear on block edges, jointing, render, brickwork and other exterior materials.
Can it be used on its own?
Yes. Instant Clean can be used as a standalone treatment where heavier moss, weeds and loose debris are limited.
Where there is significant surface build-up, we may recommend a Bristle Clean first. Regrowth Protection can then be applied afterwards to help slow the return of organic growth.
When is it normally carried out?
Property Care Plan customers commonly have Instant Clean scheduled as a spring visit, so their outdoor surfaces look their best when they are likely to be used most.
If you are not on a care plan and notice that an area of your property needs attention, Instant Clean can be arranged throughout the year where conditions allow.
